Last weekend we were blessed to be invited to the 5th birthday party of E. The theme was Let's Go to the Movies and the movie was Bibleman. We all had a great time with this blessed family. Their family mirrors ours with the oldest a girl, and then 3 boys.
Monday and Tuesday Bookgirl worked on setting up her science fair experiment. Her question: Are dog's mouths cleaner than human's? Her hypothesis: "No" She set up the incubator, and the petri dishes and they went and swabbed 3 dogs and 3 people.
Something went wrong the next day and the medium that was used in the petri dishes liquefied, so we aren't sure the experiment is going to work at all. It's all part of the process though, so we are learning either way.
Each day this week, we did some math, spelling, writing, and reading to keep moving forward. Bookgirl and Mathboy also started preparing their presentation board for our end of the year showcase with our homeschool group. They left the middle blank to add her science fair stuff to it, but they filled the sides with picture of some of the field trips we've taken and we also gathered together some of the projects they will bring.
Thursday we had some fun coloring Easter eggs. One of the kids can't eat them, but we can have fun coloring them!
We are looking forward to the weekend as we prepare to celebrate the Resurrection of our Savior. So many blessings to be thankful for.
He is Risen!! Alleluia!

What fun projects, especially the one with dogs. Can't wait to see how that comes out.
Hi, new to your blog from Weekly Wrap-ups. What an interesting experiment to try. Hopefully next time the petri dishes will cooperate.
