Daddy took Mathboy to his first Major League Baseball game with some of the men from our church. He got to see a grand slam in the first inning! Here they are tailgating.
In honor of Patriot Day, those who lost their loved ones on 9/11, and those that are still fighting to make sure that doesn't happen again, we took Friday off of school. Our principal, aka my wonderful husband, and I felt it was a more important day to honor than labor day (afterall, that was made to celebrate the labor unions!). So on Sept. 11th, we went to the park with our homeschool group.
Friday night we were blessed to be invited to our friend S's 10th birthday party, which was a private skating party. We all had a great time. It was the first time on real skates for Mathboy and he did great.
I'll be back tomorrow with our weekly school post. Have a great weekend everyone.
