Welcome to our school!

Welcome to our school and our family.  I hope you will enjoy our blog.  This year we are using My Father's World curriculum again.  Bookgirl really enjoyed their American Adventures curriculum 2 years ago, so we are back for more.  This time, we are going to take a trip around the world with Exploring Countries & Cultures.   Mathboy is doing parts of their 1st Grade program along side of that. 

Now for some basic facts about the kids:
Bookgirl - She just turned 8 last month and she LOVES books. She is in 3rd grade.  She loves Jesus very much and one of her favorite activities is dancing for Him. 
Mathboy - He is 5 1/2 and he seems to have a love for math (and a knack for it so far too).  He is officially in Kindergarten.  He recently got his first full Bible and cover and he's begun to read it.
LittleSponge - He is 2 1/2 and he soaks up everything he hears.  He can commonly be heard telling us the letter names, reciting one of his books from memory, or even reciting the prepositions that Bookgirl memorized last year!
Baby New Year - He was born on New Year's Day 2009.  He's usually napping during school time, but I'll be sure to include some other pictures of him along the way.
