مرحبا (Hello)
We all found Saudi Arabia interesting to study. It was fascinating to study a country/region that is so vastly different from ours. The kids learned quite a bit about the muslim religion. We had many discussions during school and also at the dinner table with Daddy about Islam and the impact on current world events. It was a little bit of a heavy discussion but very relavent in today's world. It really impressed upon us all the need to pray for people everywhere.
Between the cold that was passed around the family and the lice that 2 of the kids shared, we never did the craft for Saudi Arabia and only did about 1/2 of the science. Bookgirl and Mathboy did each take a stab at writing the Arabic alphabet. I was told by a friend from Lebanon, that they did a good job and she could recognize their letters :)
Mathboy has been working away on his Bible notebook. As you'll see, the summaries are getting longer by design. I am proud of him for sticking with the one about Jericho. Mathboy has perfectionist tendencies, so he gets frustrated when the writing is not "just right", but he perservered. Here are a few recent ones:
Mathboy just finished up Tball season this week. He's decided to try gymnastics next.

Our next stop in our trip around the world is India, but I have another post to share first. Mathboy's 100th day of school!
